Friday was spent stoning and resting. Saturday I met up with Cailing and Shihui for some shopping and dinner at Ding Tai Fung. Followed by hot date with Jerry. Haha. We went to KBox for some KTV-ing but ended up having to bear with really bad staff full of attitude. I just wrote a complain email but I havent send yet. I shall read again tomorrow before I send it out. Just in case I sound really rude of something. Sang until 115am and took a cab back home. Painful. Oh. Bought 2 tops when I only walked around for like 1 hour? Oh wells. Today was spent sleeping, playing Maple and tuition-ing. I was pretty angry. My mum could not get me as I was having tuition which she doesnt know. So she called Jerry and my tenant and telling them to sms me to call her back as it is urgent. When I ended tuition and called her. Guess what? Her urgent matter is whether I am having dinner at home or not. WTF! Nevermind. I got over it. But seriously, that's a tad too overboard. Bahh..
Anyways, on a lighter note, I'm officially starting lessons at NIE tomorrow albeit I dont have lessons tomorrow as of now all because the modules on Mondays dont start until late August! Hehe. Alrights I shall have a relatively early night! Bye!!

Caught flu. Probably is due to the sweaty me from some games in the afternoon and entering the cold cold gymnasium. Sobs. Now my nose is leaking like a spoilt tap. So I'm going to give my briefings a miss tomorrow. From a 4-day week, I got a maths tutorial on Friday for 2 pathetic hours. Bah. Right smack in the middle of the day somemore. Anyways, I saw Cherlyn just now as she is working under the motivational team that conducted today's activity. Hehe. She's so tanned now. But still as pretty. I think I'm very incoherent now. Called DBS in the afternoon regarding so mistakes in my laptop loan. So now tomorrow I have to draft a letter to them explaining what is incorrect. I hate to type formal letters!! Oh yeah. I think I forgot to mention that I like today's activities although I didnt get to know all my group members well. I've got to work with them for the next 1 year on our big big community service project. Whee. It's kind of fun! Alrights. I really should go now. Byes.

Just when I thought I can sleep in late today. The drilling starts at 8am. Freakos! I know my estate is having upgrading going on. But hello! 8am the drilling starts? That's so unearthly! Now at 946am, I'm wide awake, bored and have nothing to do until I start to get ready to go out at 1245pm to meet Miss Chan.

After Saturday's shopping trip, I'm pretty broke. Bought my new Levi and bought 1 for Jerry too. Saw U2 having sale so I bought some tops from there too. I can do with more plain tops for working. Hehe.

Pictures paint a thousand words. So I shall just briefly describe my fantastic day today and post the photos tomorrow or something!
Early in the morning I went to school as usual except I was wearing Khalsom's baju kurung! Hee.. Had Racial Harmony Day celebrations rights after assembly before lessons started at 910am. Followed by my relief class till 1020am. After which I had free time to do my stuff like handing back to my 2 mentors the stuff they loaned me, give away cards etc. Then at around 1 plus Fran and me took Daniel's car to CSC at BB for interhouse bowling amongst the teachers! Sad to say. I'm always the one with the lowest score. Rar. But it's ok. As I know I cannot bowl for peanuts! After bowling we went back to school and had a early dinner with Fran, TTY and TCA. It was a long dinner as we just sat at the coffee shop and talked. The 4 weeks just flew past like that and yet it seems like we've barely got to know each other. Anyways, after the early dinner, we walked back to school to wait for JYian Night to start! It's really a very noisy event put up by the students for the students! I've never seen them so enthusiastic during lessons. Hee. I guess it's what they like to do. Hiphop dance, band, choir for example! Fantastic way to end my day. Took some photos with the students too! I'm going to miss the school. I truly will!
Alrights. I'm off to rest! Tomorrow I'm going to have lunch with my JC cross-country teammates! I've not met up with them ever since I left JC. I guess it's time to let go those terrible memories and forgive their 'deeds'.

My mentor is on MC again today. So I had to take over her classes. Bah. Thankfully she gave her technical class work. So I had no problems with them. Then came the express class. Just nice, I am suppose to start teaching them a new chapter today. So I took over. But they were late and took a total of 15 minutes out of their single 30 minute period to get ready! So I kind of scolded them. Ok. More of questioned them why are they late blah blah blah. Showed them my black face before I started lesson. Some boys gave my attitude problems. Hrmph. When the bell rang one of them actually dared to tell me " 'cher bell ring already. Lesson finish." I just shot back "I know." WTF. So rude. I bet some of them are going to write on their blog about me. After their lesson I saw some of them and they didnt say hi, smile of wave. Haa. They think I only relief teacher can bully. No way man. Anyways, the next lesson they should not be late ba. Rah. Went back to the staff lounge and complained about them. Oh well. Some marking left unfinished. Shall continue tomorrow. Alrights! First and foremost...
HAPPY 3 YEARS ANNIVERSARY DARLING!!!!!
Now, i shall update about my half terrible and half fantastic day!! My day started off pretty badly with my class being almost totally out of control. Sobs. Even with my mentor there. Thank goodness it's not just me that have problems 'controlling' them. My mentor said I was doing pretty OK. But deep down I know I fumbled a lot. Nervous la. What to do.
Followed by disrespect shown by another class when my other mentor left the computer lab to draw keys to another room. They opening played e-pool infront of me. Now they have no more computer labs during their lessons! HAHA.. What a punishment. Thankfully my last lesson was a breeze. Woots. 6 periods in a row is a killer! Meanie poos of a timetable! I'm almost done with my week!!
TOMORROW is payday!! Yahoo!
Also, one of my mentor keeps telling me to choose wisely of whether I really want to teach or not. She's freaking me out. She told me a few times that I should actually try out private sector first before teaching if possible. T_T She keeps telling me that these 4 weeks are actually not a very accurate measure of a teacher's schedule. Blah.
Had lunch in which I literally forced the food down my throat and ended up with churning stomach. Sobs. Was suppose to meet darling in town for dinner at Central. But I felt so queasy and had headache so I went home to rest instead. Felt so bad and sad in cancelling our dinner. =x Suddenly my phone beeped and I recieved and I jumped for joy!! He came to visit me! Hee. When I went downstairs he bought 2 slices of cake and some candles!! So schweet.. Hee. Simple but meaningful. Alrights I shall spare the other details. Didnt take photos though. That is surprise number 1!
Surprise number 2: My senior from NUS just ROM-ed. Like OMG! So fast! I dont even see myeslf getting married within the next 1 year man.
Surprise number 3: My friend/ex-teammate (read: I rarely mention that my ex-teammate is my friend) is coming down to Singapore after studying in UK for 3 years! OMG! So exciting!! Happy happy. Probably going MG open house with her on 22/7/06! Anyone else interested? Khalsom? =)

The educational section of my life have just ended. I'm taking my first huge step into my working life! No more whining. Well at least I'll try! =) Today marks a milestone in my life! I love the ending of the ceremony where 2 poppers went off giving out those golden strips of.. erm. plastic? And loads of balloons dropped down from the ceiling! Didnt expect it though!

image as a teacher! Lol. Today is Excel Fest. I was just helping around with the attendance taking. So having some free time towards the end, other trainee teachers and I went walking round the school, or rather, walked around the outdoor activites area such as the Tarzan Swing for example. So we tried our hands and feet on these stuff that the school invested in for the students. We were so clumsy and I bet the students were giggling in their hearts. Sobs. But I did have some fun laughing at myself. Baa.
Tomorrow is another day of Excel Fest! But this time round in my usual attire instead of today's P.E. attire! I'm going to get more blisters! Pain!

I just got my secured letter regarding my PaC@Gov user id and password. I was trying to log in just now when my mum came in and inquired about what that letter is. So I just said it's regarding my pay and she SNATCHED the letter from me! wtf? I said it was private already and yet she still snatch. Zzzzz... For those who dont know what is that, it's a website in which civil servants can log in to get information about their pay and file for claims I think. I mean come on la. It's MY personal matters and I'm already turning big 22 for goodness sake. I dont even get my privacy regarding my paycheck??? Thankfully that is not my pay slip. I'm already going to give her some of my pay monthly already and she still want to do this? It's not as if I'm not going to give her any what.
I hope I can save enough to go on a short trip at the end of this year. I cant even remember when is the last time I left Singapore waters on a holiday. I'm not including my Batam trip for my Indon class as that was a fieldtrip! It sounds so pathetic! Sobs.
I've survived 2 weeks at school! I'm probably starting to teach secondary 2 normal academic maths on Monday and most probably starting to teach my secondary 2 express science on Thursday! =) Pretty excited! On Monday, my mentor and I are going to bring the class down to the physics lab for some simple experiments! Heh. 2 more weeks to go! I think I'll miss the school dearly when I leave. Not forgetting the new friends I've got to know over there!
Sunday is graduation ceremony! Tuesday is a special day and Wednesday is pay day! Hehe. I'm looking forward to next week!

It's going to be pretty random. My new URS shoes gave me terrible blisters yesterday. So today I decided to break some rules and wear my heels instead. =D Those without the heel straps just so I can rest my poor feet from all the blisters! But instead, I got 2 more blisters. So now I've got a grand total of 5 huge blisters. =( To make things worst, I accidently kicked my feet today into the chair I was sitting on. Hurts so much!! tmd. The whole day plasma have been flowing out of that particular blister. Gross I know. For your information, plasma is the yellowish liquid that flows out. Not pus ah! Alrights, enough of gross information. Hehe.. Photos!

Went out with xf, wy and ain today. =D Finally bought my Convocation shirt and shoes. Also spent a significant amount of money on another pair of shoes for work, a pair of cutesy pink and orange water bottles from Toy 'r' us (is that how to spell it?) and my basic facial wash kit from Ettusais. Spent 200 buckaroos in total! T_T I'm broke. Thank goodness I'm going to recieve my paycheck from NIE and tuition soon! Whee.
I'm so frigging tired now! I seriously hope tomorrow I dont have to do any relief but just pure observation.
Anyways, on a sad note, my first grandaunt from my mum's side passed away in the wee hours of Sunday morning. Wasnt exceptionally close to her. But my mum went up to KL this morning after obtaining her urgent leave. Oh wells.
After observing/reliefing lessons for a week, I realised how fortunate I was back in secondary school! Most of the students came from relatively good family backgrounds with pretty little discipline problems. The most was like trauncy and rudeness to teachers? I found out that one of the teachers in the school I am at now had one daughter who went to my alma mater and the teacher's impression of that school is really good! I'm pleasantly surprised! She actually pointed something that I've failed to observed until that day. *beams*
Alrights. I shall be off now. Tomorrow have to wake up at 6!!!!!

Yeah I survived the day. Saw MG peeps at the National Stadium. Was really tempted to go over to say hi. But in the end I didnt. Watched them from far. Ok. That sounded wrong. I observed them from far. Glad to see them entertaining themselves without making a fool of themselves. Although I must say the schools seating around where I was sitting werent exactly on their best behaviour. I enjoyed watching the display bands perform. My first time watching display band performing live. =)
