Yeah! You heard me right! Mass P.E. for me tomorrow morning! We, teachers, get to stay in our P.E. attire whole day if we want to! Tomorrow I have no lessons, so I'll probably not change but will bring a change of tee-shirt. =) Yesterday and today my mentor was on MC so I had to relief her class. I guess I was pretty unprepared. =( She was already ill on Tuesday so she gave her secondary 2 class work. So all I had to do was to just baby-sit them on Wednesday. However, while I was baby-sitting them, I saw that they finished they work really fast so I decided to just entertain them a bit. I started to tell lame jokes. But it was not well recieved. T_T So much so for trying to be enthusiastic. RARRR.. Come to think of it, I guess I responded the same way as them whenever I had relief teachers back in MG. Bad karma. What comes around goes around? Today, I got smarter. I borrowed Shiv's book of science puzzles that his mentor lent him and I photocopied a few pages of puzzles. I purposely photocopied those puzzles which had themes related to the topics of science they have learnt previously. Gave it out to them and there was peace! Woohoo! When I told them didnt have to hand in. I recieved the 'duh' look again. Sigh. Not easy being a teacher.. RAAAAAARRRRRRRR.. Tahan I will..

This Saturday I'm probably involved in the baby-sitting of the secondary 2s at the SYF opening ceremony at National Stadium! Whole Saturday gone! Sobs. I hope I can change it to the Milk Run event that's going to happen on Sunday instead. *crosses fingers* I'm tired I'm tired! Been waking up at 6am everyday! Still trying to get used to it. Blah.

Today was pretty slack. We got our time tables, met up with our respective mentors and had a walk around school. I had a lesson. A 35-minute period. Boy. It was really an eye-opener although I kind of expected the situation. My first time stepping into a Normal Academic class. I must say they are really friendly. =) But I guess it will take loads of effort for me to 'handle' them. I'm pretty excited about tomorrow!! I'll be stepping into the same class as today but for 2 periods instead. Also I'll be stepping into my first Normal Technical class tomorrow for 3 periods! Followed by one Express class for 1 period! Yeap. Tomorrow is 6 periods. Non-stop! But I guess I'll survive! One of my mentor actually expects me to teach single-handedly! Oh no!! -panics-

Anyway, just an interesting piece of information. Thursdays and Fridays are their mass pe for upper and lower secondary respectively. It's really mass pe in the sense that even the teachers are expected in join in the mass pe!! We can stay in our 'pe' attire the whole day! Heh. The teacher in-charge of us actually told us we can just run slowly. No need to be garang! Heh.

Oh oh! I'm loving the malay food there! It's fantastic! I'm getting to know my co-workers slowly! It's going to be a great time there! I love the rapport that the teachers have with each other. It's not something that I've seen back in secondary school and in JC. Really. I guess it's because the number of teachers there are really small. Alrights! I shall go 'study' my schedule of work for my N(T) and secondary 2 science now! Oh. That leads me to really wonder. How come I'm not given any chemistry lessons! Hm. Shall ask tomorrow!

Just want to say something. I'm have to take a maths test when NIE starts to determine whether I need content upgrading modules. Urghzz.. The passing mark is 75%!! So guess what? Yesterday I went to purchase an A. Maths TYS. I could not find a proper Maths D TYS. So I'm going to use back the book I used last time in Sec 3 to practise! Yes I actually did some questions from the A. Maths TYS. 3 questions to be exact. I could do almost all except a small part of 1 question! Great achievement considering I've not touched any form of A. Maths since I left JC. And no, I did not peep at the summary of the topic before I started on my questions on functions. I'm starting to fall in love with maths again. Haa.

I shall slowly practice. I seriously hope my Maths D knowledge is still somewhere etched in my puny brain. Heh.

Alright alrights. I'm off to sleep soon. Must tune my body clock so I can wake up on time next Monday! I'm so excited! =)

Today is the first day of my Teacher Preparatory Program in NIE. I'm very inspired by my tutor for this 2-day course that prepares us for the 4 week Enhanced School Experience starting on this coming Monday. I'm so impressed by him that I stayed awake throughout the day! Although I'm pretty tired towards the end of today's program, I still tried my best to listen to him. I never knew that teaching involves so many aspects! He gave us tips on how to handle situations. He stressed that shouting does not help. I found out many things that teachers do behind the scenes. It's going to be a very hands-on experience come Monday. =) I'm getting geared up for it!

Alrights, I shall go type my test for my tuition kid and email it to her! Byes.

I was just looking through the schools posting list and I saw so many familar names. From the people from my major to friends that I have lost contact with since secondary school! Goodness! For thos SC7 people reading my blog, know who I found going to teach? Serene Tan the dodo bird! I'm not 100% sure it's her name. But i'm at least 99.9% sure. Heh. I shall find out tomorrow at the briefing! I'm not exactly please by one of the names I saw on the list. I shant say who. Maybe my impression will gradually change. Haa..

I got posted to Juying Secondary by the way. I seriously do not know what to expect! Heh. So exciting!

Tomorrow is a short day of talks at NIE. From 1030am to 12 noon. Probably going to town with Ning after that. Heh. I need to buy my white shirt and court shoes for Commencement!!

I havent switched on my own laptop in ages!! Ever since Jerry left his laptop at my place for me to play Maplestory when I'm stuck at home, I have been using his laptop everyday! Hee. I'm hooked onto Maplystory again. Which has its bad and good consequences. I can save money by staying at home and play all day without feeling very bored. Bad thing is I get so lazy to go out. Haha.

I'm still too lazy for a photo entry. It's the lazy worm growing inside me. Muahaha. World Cup is starting tonight. I'm planning to watch it since it's Germany vs Coasta Rica for the opening match. I liked the Germany team a lot at the last World Cup as I found the captain to be really good looking. Yes. I watch it for the hot guys. Not for the game. Hee. Too bad he's not playing this year. Oh wells.

Anyway, I think my appetite has become smaller ever since I got and recovered from my gastric flu. I eat so much lesser nowadays. Which is really rare for me for those who know me long enough. My appetite have been pretty good. Oh well. I guess it's a blessing in disguise as I can use this chance to loose some unwanted fats. =X

I'm staring working on 19th June. It will be some paperwork done at NIE before I start teaching on 26th June. Blah. On 27th June I have to go collect my academic dress at MPSH 1 between 10am - 1pm. If I'm teaching how I go? I cant possibly apply leave on my 2nd day at work right? Oh well. Who cares about timing? I'll just go down later. Haa.

Just got my tuition paycheck today! Heh. Have to wait for it to be banked in before I can use it to buy more teaching attire. Sighs. Good thing is that now Channel 8 is showing a show, Raphsody in Blue, at 7pm every weekdays. This show features 2 teachers. I can take reference from their dressing! Hee.

Boo. I have been stuck at home since Wednesday due to this sickening illness. Irritating. Wednesday and Thursday were the worst. Fever and nausea. The fever was so stubborn. It just refuse to go away until finally on Thursday afternoon, I woke up from my afternoon nap. My whole tee wet with my sweat. I swear I hate this illness more than anything else. Growls. Looking on the bright side, my appetite have been really poor, so I think I may have lost some weight. Woots. I was preparing to go out just now when another wave of nausea hit me! TMD. Made me stay at home for yet another day. I had to cancel my tuition for both Thurs and Friday can? Irritating. Hopefully tomorrow my stomach dont act up and I can go for tuition and recieve my tuition pay! *jumps* I can finally repay those people that I owe money to. =x I seriously this now I have gastric problems. Sigh.

Oh yeah. Regarding the doctor I went to. He sucks! I mean. He's pretty nice and all. He was not even thorough in his examination and neither was he sure of my condition! He was like, 'I think it's gastric flu.' and gave me a sickly sweet smile. *pukes* 'You got any medication at home for fever? You can take those.' Like WTF. Ok nevermind. I pretended to be ok. The best sentence he said during the whole time I was having consultation with him. 'Alright, I'll give you medications to treat you symptoms.' Oh come on. I need medicine to treat my ILLNESS and symptoms. Not just the latter!

I tell you. I give up hope on that clinic. To think before I left to see doctor, my mum told me specifically to go to that clinic. Sheesh. Over that 2 days, I popped 6 panadols. I know it's not a lot. But it's considerably a lot to me as I dont really like the notion of panadols and it staying in my body for up to 5 years. It doesnt sound too good to me does it?

Rar. Alrights. I'm going to watch X-Men later! Woots. Not my favourite type of show. But. What the heck right? I shall be good and not have popcorns! =)
