After looking at photos posted up by Gina of Stanford and California and Lq posting photos of Maastricht and Netherlands, I'm so so jealous that I'm stuck in Singapore. But I'm pretty glad I'm stuck here too. Coz I know I'll never be independent enough to stay by myself. Freak.

I shall blog before I start my work.

It's already irritating enough to be trying to rush finish my lab report before tonight so that I can enjoy my long weekend. It's even more irritating to have someone insensitive to call and ask whether I wan to play mj all the way in AMK. Like FUCK.

CM3291 is a freaking lab module which means that ALL and I really mean ALL the damn lab reports stand a huge percentage of the overall marks. If 50% of the overall marks isnt' huge, than I've got nothing to say. So having the heavy weightage, any person with some tiny bit of brain will know that churning out good lab reports is a must and not a choice. It also does not help that majority of the chem majors are so freaking kiasu. So that means I also have to be freaking kiasu and make sure my lab report is of some standard. Nehmind. My performance during lab is also essential. However, having that bitch of a TA, it's important that I do not make so many mistakes or do so many silly things. On top of that, we dont go for lunch breaks while the damn TA goes for her lunch break happily. Also, getting all my procedures correct during lab never ensures that I'll get a good yield. Like my last experiment, my fucking yield is only the most 20% of the starting material for being stuck 8hours in the lab.

If you dont call the above as a form of stressful stress to me every Monday and whenever I do my lab report. I would than call you inhuman.

Then again, noone can ever understand how we, chem majors, feel unless a person go through it personally even if it's for just 1 week. Noone.

Bah. Back to lab report and household chores.

I condemn my damn damn damn lab report. Freak. It's irritating the hell outta me. I swear. I'm mainly left with my discussion and exercise questions. Sounds little? NO! These 2 sections are the worst! The rest of the lab report is pretty no-brainer. FREAK.

It's pretty funny. My dad who was once an advocate of reading now turns to watching VCDs. Hehe. He just called back home and asked some stuff and he ended the conversation by asking me what am I doing and when he comes home I cannot fight with him for the TV as he wants to watch his VCDs. What a change. Mind you, he used to read those thick thick chinese novels whereas now he watches korean and chinese drama serials. =)

I survived another day of lab.. Sighz.. Thankfully today I did everything a-ok.. =) I left at 5 as I definitely need to have dinner before my BI3 tutorial at 6.. Had Kavitha and Huiling to finish up the UV spectrum for us.. Bad bad.. But it could not be helped.

I had fun at today's BI3 lessons! Ibu Lucia is so cute! I'm starting to love my BI3 lessons more and more! -teehee-

I'm so glad there's no tutorial tomorrow!

Oh ya, I just remembered that during lab just now, the waste solvent bottle was full. Guess what? People still continue to pour their waste into the funnel and causing the waste to overflow. I was like OMG, the bottle is full, use your brain a bit can? I would like to use an analogy concerning Gina.. Hehe.. Gina dont mind k? =p As those of you who know Gina, she can be a scatterbrain at times, but THAT girl is even worst! Sheesh. She poured her waste into the already-overflowing waste solvent bottle, I immediately said very loudly: The bottle full already still pour! She went: Aiyah nehmind lar.. Me and the other girl at the fumehood looked at each other and gave the 'duh' look.. Seriously. Some people just leave their brains at home during lab?

I just remembered what I want to blog about already. I'm so going to die young. Yesterday during lab, I was in contact with so many toxic chemicals. OMGS. Methanol, acetone, propanoic acid etc. The best part? The TA did not even remind us to wear gloves. WTF. The 2nd best part, I used acetone to wash the other chemicals off my hands. WTFWTFWTF. If I do ever get cancer next time, I'll know why.

I HEREBY DECLARE THAT I REALLY HATE CM3291. Yesterday I was in my lab from 9.05am till 5.09pm. On top of that, I did not go for lunch. The only break I had was to go to the ladies and to buy a can of milo to curb my hunger. Not only that, as I was rushing yesterday morning, I did not grab a bit in the morning. So by around 3+ my stomach was acting up. I had such a bad gastric until I really wanted to just cry. Never was my gastric so bad. Even now, once in a while I still feel pain. ROAR. This is the life of a miserable CHEMISTRY major. Freak I tell you. NOONE, absolutely NOONE will know how we feel. It doesnt help when my TA is so so so 'niao' (picky). I never did write down my aims, experimental procedures blah blah blah on my data sheet. Worst thing was she asked for my no. in the attendance sheet. Must be she putting down black mark. FREAK. Last night I was so tired that I actually slept at 10pm. Must be my no. in the attendance sheet. No. 38! Haha.. As I was looking into the mirror after I washed my face, I was really shocked to see humongous eyebags and dark eye circles! This is only the 2nd week of school for goodness sake! I'm actually starting to feel the stress. This is really bad.

Sorry for the terrible entry. I'm too stoned to type everything in chronological order. Haha.. Tata.. Going to continue helping my mum to bake CNY cookies. *Slurps*

Oh ya. I've got an individual project that was given to my lecture group today. Freako. It's due in 3 weeks time. Right after CNY. So crazy. I'm going to start on it soon. So I can enjoy my CNY weekend. GROWLS. Right after the individual project, I've got a critique due followed by a team project. 3 assignments from 1 chemistry core module. Sigh. At least the lecturer is pretty good. For one of the few times. I still have BI3 assignment after our fieldtrip to Batam during the term break. Thankfully the GEK that I'm taking dont have project. (I think. Cannot remember clearly though.) *Phew*

Okies. I'm really going off now. Maybe after the Fiona Xie show tonight I will start on my stupid lab reports. Sigh. Byes~

It was fantabulous fun having Lq and Gina over last night. =) Although Lq kept sleeping. Gina and I stayed awake the whole night yakking about so many things until we cannot remember what we yakked about. They left my place at about 830am. After walking them down, I took a rest till about 12noon. Gosh. I usually cannot survive on so little sleep, but I'm feeling hyper. So there. =) The nicest part was the non-stop yakking about each of our lives. I dug out my old photos from JC and we started laughing at ourselves at how terrible we looked last time. Haha. We have all changed. Gina and I watched White Chicks while Lq was trying to finish up her FYP. Hehe. Had a really good laugh. Did many silly things. Cooked instant mee at approximately 3am as the 2 very active guests of mine were really hungry and in the process melting some plastic by accident. Not only that, I discovered that both of them are even worst than me when it comes to cooking. Haha. Took many photos when we were still pretty hyper. Or should I say when Lq was still pretty hyper. Hehe. Secrets were exposed but all promised to be kept it within the 4 walls and the 3 of us. Ate quite a bit of chips. Bad. I know my this entry is pretty messy, but I dont really care as I'm pretty stoned out.

Yesterday was only the 2nd day of lessons but I'm already feeling so tired. Dont ask me why. This semester I kind of like my timetable even though it's a 4-day week. It's so much more relaxing as compared to my 3-day week last semester.

Monday: 9am-5pm Inorg/Org Lab; 6-8pm Bahasa Indonesia (freaking long day)
Tuesday: 12noon-2pm Instrumental Analysis 2 (the lecturer is lousy but what's new?); 2-4pm Transition Metal Chemistry
Wednesday: 10am-12noon Bahasa Indonesia; 12noon-2pm Computational Methods for Basic Finance Lecture; 2-4pm Computational Methods for Basic Finance Lab
Thursday: FREE DAY
Friday: 8-10am Bahasa Indonesia; 12noon-2pm Instrumental Analysis 2; 2-4pm Transition Metal Chemistry

I'm really excited for my Bahasa Indonesia classes although I think it's going to be pretty stressful. Not only that, we're going to have a fieldtrip to Batam to interview the folks there and also to go jalan-jalan, makan-makan etc.. I'm starting to love my Ibu(s) even more!

I have this feeling that there will be a 'test' tomorrow by the Ibu(s) when we going for our BI3 introductory lecture, so I dont want to make a fool of myself, so I shall be good and study.. Haha..

Today, I really had a good shopping haul. I got a khaki green skirt that I can wear for teaching next time(provided that I still can fit into the skirt), I bought a new pair of covered toes for lab! It's so pretty! So I cant bear to wear it to lab. Lolz. So I may just wear back my old covered toes. Not only that, I saw super a lot of nice stuff that I want to get, but by that time my mummy was not with us (me and my tenant) anymore. Let me get some cash first before I go on another shopping trip ba.. Now my shopping all centers around clothes that I can wear to teach. Lolz. Like longer skirts. Hehe. Ok. Now to my main topic for this entry. The amount of food I ate today was gastrnomous!

Firstly, I had lunch at C. Jade Express at Wisma. It was terrible. Following that, I shopped a little before I went to Taka and bought durian pancake and gobbled in down. Next I went to shop around Heeren before proceeding to City Hall area. Reaching Citylink, my tenant wanted to eat something so we went to Thai Express for tea in which we ordered calamari and tapioca with coconut milk. After walking around Suntec for a while, we headed back to Jurong Point to have dinner. We ate a large sinful plate of fried hokkien mee each and share a popiah. Following dinner, we both had a scoop of durian ice cream each. I tell u. Each and every bite of the ice cream was so so sinful, but it was too good to resist. Haha. I should try and curb my stupid cravings and save money on food and at the same time lose weight. Muahaha.. I need to lose some fats!

Tomorrow going out with dear after my lessons. Sigh. Going to eat more food again because celebrating monthsery. Eeks. I'm growing horizontally.

Anyway, I love clothes from GG<5. They have such pretty clothes! I love them all! Hehe. I love littlematchgirl too! Hehe. Now I got membership from there, I shall slowly start getting pants from there.

Okies, I'm off now. 8am lesson tomorrow. I just haf this feeling I cant wake up.

Officially, my last semester in NUS has started. Technically, however, I have yet to step into NUS. Hehe.. Wednesday 8am at LT 26 will start my last semester in NUS officially. Boo.. I seriously hate 8am lectures. Firstly, I hate and cant wake up at an unearthly hour of 6am just to prepare and make myself look pretty to get my fat ass to school. Wait. I AM pretty. Haha.. Let my narcissism infiltrate this entry a while. WAHAHA.. Ok, let me get back to my point. Secondly, I really dont like to squeeze up the bus/train so early in the morning looking unglam. Thirdly, I hate the feeling whereby the feeder buses that passes by my bus stop early in the morning doesnt stop for us(those waiting at the bus stop) as the buses are too full to accomodate us. Rarrr.. Ok. I shall cut all the crap and just say that my main reason is that the piggy me cannot wake up. *Oops*

Thursday is a free day. Yay! Friday my lessons start at 12! Yay! I love lessons that start late! So that I can sleep in! Muahaha.. Saturday night Fever! Joking.. It's going to be Saturday night Chaos with Gina banana and Lq! Woots!

Hehe.. That pretty sums up my week! Tomorrow early morning I may get dragged out of my precious bed, out of my now-very-neat-room-with-newly-hung-curtains-to-finally-block-of-the- Sun, out of my house to go town to shop! I really dont mind seriously, if my mum pays for everything. Haha. Also, the very mention of going for dim sum by my tenant before any shopping starts really perks me up! Any good food will perk me up! Haha. But the bad news is I'll be having extra intake of fats which leads to even larger tummy. Sigh. It's like. How sad?

I am looking forward to tomorrow! Shopping! Maybe, just maybe, I will use my new bag from Topshop. Hehe..

I'm having a wonderfulicious last week of the holidays! =) Had shopping trip with dear on Monday, mahjong on Tuesday and Wednesday with the same group of people, namely dear, Jeffery and Cerenna. Thursday was spend at home resting because I was still sick. No. I am still sick. Haha.. Friday went out shopping with Gina Banana.. Haha. Very fruitful shopping trip I must say. Today, I finally cleaned my study table of my notes and whatnots from last semester. Tomorrow, mahjong again! This time with hy, yiyi and dear! =) I must say this week is the MOST busy week I've ever had this holidays. Haha..

Today I finally sorted out my accessories. My necklaces are stashed away in a nice box that I realised I have. Lol. Treasures that I find while cleaning my room. I still need more earrings! I want those metallic chunky earrings! I cant seem to find any that I really really like. Oh well. I still have 1 more CD rack empty. So maybe I shall fill that up too and end my lemmings for earrings. Hehe..

T_T For my last semester in NUS, I wont be able to have Gina for me to bug before, during break and after lectures. I wont have a toilet khaki. I wont have such a crazy shopping khaki. Sobz. It's like OMG, Gina and Lq ARE flying off. Gulps.

Gina and Lq, this part of this entry is dedicated to the both of you! I'll miss you guys loads! Lets meet up before both of you leave ok? I dont want the last meet up to be at the airport. I scared later I cry at the airport. I think I will. Lets go to either one of our place and sit there and chit chat till dawn. Do all silly things. OMG, I'm so going to freak out by my core modules that I'm going to take this semester. I was just looking at the notes and stuff for 2 semesters ago and it looks horrible! OMG. I'm going to cry. It's projects and more projects. CHEMISTRY projects. OMG. Core module that only consists of projects are scary, especially chemistry projects. SIGH. What to do, I so hate organic chemistry.

Plus BI3 is going to be a pretty heavy module. Calculas will be terrible too! OMG. But I'm so glad it's my last semester in NUS. HAHA.. Unless I am ambitious enough to take postgraduate studies. What a big IF. Lolz.

Okies. I shall scuttle off now. Getting ready to play mj with dear's friends. Hehe. Yesterday they come over last min to play too. Thank goodness they stay near me.

I went SHOPPING. I mean serious shopping. Haha.. Only bought 3 things. Ok, to be exact 4. A jacket/top, a halter, a pink bikini bottom and a mahjong set. YES! I can finally open mahjong sessions at my place!! Whee! The shop uncle allowed me to change the chips to a packet with PINK chips.. Hehe.. I wanted pink mahjong tiles, but it was over budget, so I bought the most basic one that's greyish-silverish in colour. Now, I have to go source for the table.

Today, Bugis and Suntec was a sea of humans! Gosh. Bugis Village was even worse! Goodness.. All the squeezing, pushing, getting stepped on etc etc.. Actually I saw another really pretty brown skirt! But it didnt fit me nicely.. =(

Went to Topshop to try and use my last voucher but I either couldnt find anything that really catches my eye or the size wasnt right. Oh well, Let me wait for the new season to arrive I guess.

Tomorrow I'm most probably going to the ZOO! Mandai Zoo! Havent been there since..... I cant remember! Gosh. I hope Mr Weather will be really nice and bless me with a bright and sunny day tomorrow!
